The City of Newark has several partnership agencies that help to provide services to the city. Working with the City of Newark these agencies facilitate the organization and implementation of services like education and the Newark Housing Authority.

Newark Housing Authority: The Newark Housing Authority (NHA) is the largest public housing authority in New Jersey and the eleventh largest in the nation. We have a portfolio of 44 public housing communities with a total of over 8,000 rental units scattered throughout the City of Newark. NHA also administers up to 4,000 Housing Choice Vouchers (Section 8) within the city limits
Invest Newark, the primary economic development catalyst for Newark, New Jersey, was organized to retain, attract and grow businesses, enhance small and minority business capacity, and spur real estate development within the city. Invest Newark initiates and executes economic development activities to produce and sustain economic growth, generate jobs and create wealth for the citizens of Newark.
