Mayor Ras J. Baraka, the Newark Municipal Council, and Deputy Mayor of Community Engagement Jacqueline Quiles will host free Community Dinners for homeless residents and at-risk families at the Vincent Lombardi Center of Hope at 201 Bloomfield Avenue, for residents in need. The dinners will be held on Sunday, December 3; Sunday December 10; and Sunday, December 17, and will take place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Seasonal music will be provided.
The dinners are hosted by North Ward Council member Anibal Ramos, Hispanic Law Enforcement Society of Essex County, Hispanic Firefighters Association of Newark, Lighthouse Assembly of God, Dominican Parade of Essex County, Casa Nova Grill, Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey, and Ecuadorian American Chambers of Commerce NJ.
