• #MASKUP
We have to continue to wear our masks when out in public, continuously wash our hands and keep practicing social distancing (which is maintaining a distance of 6 feet apart).
And we have to do this as our new normal. Not just when someone is watching, or just because it’s an ordinance or requirement. But because it will save lives.
• SIT STILL SUNDAYS
This past Sunday was our first Sit Still Sunday and we will continue with it next Sunday as well.
It’s a time when everything in Newark closes at 8PM, with the exception of supermarkets, pharmacies and gas stations.
This allows us to quiet down activity and hopefully quell the rise of COVID throughout neighborhoods.
The goal is to see our numbers drop after these two Sit Still Sundays pass.
